Trend & Prom Campaigns
After I was the lead designer for Men’s Division I was moved to lead digital designer for YC/Trend. Nordstrom’s key initiative was acquisition of new young customers. I was able to take ownership of the YC division taking on large campaigns such as Spring Trend campaign, Prom as well as all site and email updates. Trend Campaign was my first project after transitioning from Men’s to YC. I had to hit the ground running and collaborate with the Photo Art Director to create a creative strategy deck.
I researched and helped the Art Director pull together a cohesive concept that would showcase the video and photography which was shot separately. It was important that they worked well together because they would be living together on site as well as OOH ad’s on Hulu and Popsugar. This particular campaign had 1M dollar media buy in, so we had to have sign off by leadership.
The goal of Prom was to make Nordstrom a more prominent shopping destination for dresses, accessories, shoes and beauty products. The concept we executed was cross divisional one stop shop for Prom.
Results: We successfully drove new traffic to the site which resulted in incremental demand.
